2007：・25th October, 2007, workshop at BNUS ・9-10th December, 2007, USMCA2007 was held at Bangladesh. ・BNUS report 2007

2006：14-15th June, 2006, workshop on evaluation of concrete structure at BNUS. Prof. Meguro, Dr. Yoshimura, Dr. Kanada and Mr.Tsukimoto attended.   ・An academic exchange agreement was established between ICUS and BNUS to establish a regional office in BUET at same time.  ・1st September, 2006, base office opened in BUET.   ・5-6th December, 2006 BNUS seminar on -Seminar on Importance of Maintenance of Existing Concrete Structures- Prof. Meguro had a lecture as -Recent Development of Earthquake Related Activities in Japan-.  ・30th November – 2nd December,2006, BNUS sponsored an evacuation drill for 3days with the participation of 77 Armentitola Govt. High School.   ・10th-12th December, 2006, Evacuation drill was conducted and 33 people participated.

2005: from January to February, 2006, Dr. Mehedi Ahmed Ansary was appointed as a project associate professor at ICUS, IIS.UTokyo.  ・17-19th March, 2006, Prof. Uomoto visited to discuss to establish regional office in BUET with Vice President and Dean of Graduate school of Civil engineering of BNUS.
